'Getting the Gig' Workshop with Dave Tamulevich was a big success!

This past Saturday, November 22nd. a few board members started showing up at the Mediator Stage at 12:30 for the 2 PM workshop. The room took shape quickly setting up about 20 chairs, reception table, snacks and RISA materials.  Then we waited...and waited!  We thought for sure 'if we build it, they will come'...and they did!  We had to break out more chairs and wound up with 27 RISA members in attendance from RI, MA & CT.

Dave Tamulevich fed us information about gigging and touring al the while interjecting stories of some of the folk artists he has trepresented over the years.  It was great to hear the info from one of the best and I am sure everyone was taking notes!  Not only was it a great workshop but it was FREE to our members!
