Several RISA members take turns hosting critique sessions, which occur approximately monthly at no charge to members.

RISA critiques are a comfortable, friendly atmosphere to try out new material, with potluck snacks and beverages.

The critiques are done using the "salsa method," meaning:

MILD = Light critique

MEDIUM = A bit more critical

SPICY = "Give it to me, baby!"  

You choose the degree of "heat!"

 

PREPARATION: Bring your instrument to perform live, or bring a pre-recorded CD, or bring a digital file of your song with your own speaker capabilities. Please print 10-12 copies of your lyrics to distribute to attendees as well.
