Here is our process:

Several RISA members take turns hosting critique sessions, which take place approximately monthly at no charge to members.

RISA Critiques are a comfortable, friendly atmosphere to try out new material, with potluck snacks and beverages. It is best to bring songs that you don't consider finished.

You choose how deep you would like to receive critical feedback, based upon the "salsa method."


PREPARATION: You can perform your song live (bring your instrument), or bring a pre-recorded CD, or a digital file of your song with your own speaker capabilities. Please also print out 10-12 copies of your lyrics to distribute to attendees. You can also participate even if you have no song to share.
